It gives me immense pleasure to share with you that the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will host the First Global Health Security Summit (GHSS) from January 10-11, 2024. GHSS is a global effort to strengthen the World’s ability to collectively prevent, detect, and respond to health threats.
More than 70 countries International organizations, NGOs, private sector companies have come together and have signed onto the GHSS framework, including Pakistan, to achieve the vision of a world safe and secure from Global health threats posed by infectious diseases.
It is a great opportunity for Pakistan, where health leaders from around the world will converge to discuss and address the most pressing issues in global health.
The theme of this summit "Together for a Healthy Planet" underscores the need for unity and cooperation in overcoming our shared health challenges. It is a testament to our collective responsibility to ensure that every individual, regardless of their location or circumstances, has access to quality healthcare, vaccines, and essential services.
